The final countdown...

The trip is almost finished...Now I am in Moscow and tomorrow I catch the plane  back home...Last night I experienced the atmosphere of watching a football game in a bar between the local team, CSKA Moscow and Real Madrid...Everyone was crazy and I think only me and a friend of mine from Nicaragua   were the only ones who supported Real Madrid but of course we had to scream CSKA Moscow all night long in the middle of that jungle. What's happening in Saint Petersburg (Санкт-Петербург)?

This last days I've been walking around the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg and I never saw a city with so many great monuments. It's  just breathtaking when I am walking on the street  and I look to the sides and I see this majestical construction like: Cathedral of Christ on the Blood, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Winter Palace, Kazansky Cathedral...

I kind of feel that I am living here and that I am not here as a tourist  because I created this daly routine of catching the public transportation to move around the city, go to the supermarket  and to come back home. Some times I go alone and I met people on the road and other times I just go with friends. I also discovered a place to cut my hair…It's like I were in Portugal the difference is that instead of go to the university I visit the city and instead of sleep I go to party…it's amazing, amazing stuff.

The winter palace is just unique. It was the house of the Tsar family and inside the palace is the museum called Hermitage. When I went there I saw a lots of people from Portugal due to the match between Benfica and  Zenite

This was in the Peter and Paul Fortress...The place where the city of Saint Petersburg started.

While we were eating something at this café, next to our table was this lady holding the hand of a guy and reading is future only by looking to the lines on the palm of his hand…After a while we started to talk with them and then she agreed to read my future and my personality for free hehehe...She told me that I am going to be rich...so now I just need to rest and I wait for the money...

Goodbye Ekaterinburg…Hello Saint-Petersburg

The time of departure as come…It's time to say goodbye.

I am sure that I will never forget all the great moments I experienced in Ekaterinburg…Special tanks to the Local Best Group Ekaterinburg UrFO for taking care of me like I was a member of their family…Thanks for the Event, thanks for the after-Event and thanks for keeping my trip around Russia alive…I am afraid to say this but Azores is wanting for all of you…(don't forget that I live in an island and I cannot receive everyone at the same time…of course I can)

But my adventure continuous. Now it's time to say hello Saint Petersburg.

The train trip took 36 hours, 24 hours more than I as expecting because I forgot to look at the day of arrival and I only saw the hour of arrival lool…I were alone on the train for the first hours but after I slept, I decided to learn russian with two old ladies next to my bed and after some minutes I was showing pictures about Azores to almost every person near my bed lol…I didn't wrote as much as I wanted to about the days in Eka but I will try to upload something...

Now I am in Dasha's house , my host in St. Petersburg , and I am wanting to meet her friends. My father just texted me about the game of tomorrow between Benfica and Zenite. I have to think if I should spend 3500 rubles to watch the game at the stadium or 0 rubles to watch it on the TV.

News...

Hello people, from now on I am going to write everything in english, this way all the awesome people I met in this course can follow my adventures around Russia. The course is over, the participants are going back home and this last 10 days were amazing...Now I am confortable seated in Dária's couch, next to my  portuguese mate Carlos and we are trying to digest this traditional russian soup cooked by her mother.

Today I have to rest, because tomorrow 

I am going to snowboard all day long. Than, on the 12th at 21:00, I have to catch the train to Saint-Petersburg...During the train trip I will write about this last 10 days...bye

Yekaterinburg (Екатеринбу́рг)

Daqui a duas horas apanho o Transiberiano. Aqui fica uma foto da mala que levo para Yekaterinburgo. São 26 horas de comboio e aproximadamente 1600 km de viagem e como tal é preciso estar preparado para tudo. Agora sim estou a caminho de pisar o solo Siberiano.
